I've only lived in ATL for about a year now, and yeah the traffic sucks, but, I love it here. It's a great city, it's got great music, great personality, and great people (most of the time).

Hi all of you Atlanta hating fans, I hate Atlanta. I have been here on and off too may years and I am certainly planning to leave this darn city within the next year. This time, Atlanta will be in my rear view mirror for the rest of my life. I am a college student to retrain in a new field that is much more stable than my present line of work. This is my personal subscription to plan a solid foundation to move to a smaller Georgia town far away from Atlanta. For me, Atlanta is living in hell.

Sincerely,

Bruce

Jeez, y'all are reading way to much into this. Dude/dudette wasn't trashing the city or the airport. He/she was just expressing their contempt at the sub-standard programing found on the WB channel 36. My money is on it actually being Drew Jubera...

Big difference between saying you hate the policies of a government and hating a whole place itself. The tag bearer has no reasonable doubt about how the message will be received by those that read it.

I don't saying it to this person- "Get out of Atlanta."

I had the same thought as Garrett - maybe they just really, really hate the airport. I'm starting to hate it a little, myself.

I should follow what I said, by the way, with an observation of how strange and foreign it is to me that someone would go out of their way to hate where they live. It's a clear excuse to either be lazy, or deliberately break windows.

Well, it's like Bill Clinton said after the Oklahoma City bombing. You can't love your country, yet hate your government.

Policies are different, though, unless it means "all policies." It's entirely conceivable to love your country, but disagree with some of its policies.

How do you know they aren't attempting to be part of the solution?

What if someone said to you:
Why, if you live in America, would you go to the trouble of getting an "America's Policies Suck" bumper sticker?

I mean, I just think you know nothing about this person.

Hey, maybe they just hate the airport, and thus are using its standard three-letter code...

Actually, it was an Acura. (I shouldn't have cut that part out of the picture.) I think it I would have drowned in the stereotypicalness of it all if it had been an SUV.
