Reading the above review in regards to Hudson's boycotting Sweetwater has made my decision that I will never go to Hudson's. If they want to boycot a local brew, then I can boycot Hudson's.

I am aware of the misspellings....

Also. 6 drink tickets, each ticket is redeemed for 1/2 a beer of choice. Total of three beers. Sweetwater does not serve food. THEY ARE A MICRo-BREWERY! Big chain restaurant pricks!

My girlfriend and i decided to try the grill on August 24th. We both live in Brookhaven and have been watching them build it for some time now. Anyways, the waiter boldly stated that they had over 52 beers on tap. When I asked for a Sweetwater, the poor little gay guy glazed over with a vacant look in his eyes and replied "we are boycotting their beer because we feel they are taking business away from other restauraunts" (if you didnt know, Sweetwater brewery located off Ottley drive in Atl offers guided tours of the brewery 3 times a week and offer out 6 drink tickets that you redeem there for a half glass of fresh off the tap beer. It is very local and very cool) I understand thatthe waiter was just toeing the compant line and you could tell that in the two weeks they have been open, my request and his retort was not the first time!
The food was good. They forgot the Cheese on my bacon and cheese burger and they misses the bacon on my gf's fish (either salmon or tuna)
but the taste was great and value was also.
The manager came over to be courdial and we spoke about the sweetwater situation. He hadnt had much knowlege of the brewery beyond what people had informed him. I reccomeded he go. Typically the crowd I have seen at Sweetwater is certainly not what I was currently seeing at Hudsons Grill. Either age wise or priority alike.
pros-Great prices and food taste
cons-absint minded cooks and "Situation Sweetwater"

Decided to try Hudsons at Brookhaven on evening of Tues 14th Aug. Great atmosphere, but what a disappointment.

Food took best part of 30 mins to arrive at table. Mains and appetisers brought to table at same time, with no explaination. Cold plates, cold food. (both should have been hot) When we brought this up with host, she cooly said they were having teathing problems. "give us a try in a few weeks.." There are a lot of good restaurants around, I didn't think we'll risk two mediocre meals.
