Lindbergh Marta station defines what MARTA is all about. Maximum flash, minimal applicability. I agree with you, Robert, Marta should be more concerned with actually having people ride than generating lots of revenue. I would love for Marta to be actually useful, more so than when I want to go see Weezer at the Underground, and when I want to get to the airport. I live in East Atlanta, and there really is no reason to even think about Marta, other than for the aforementioned reasons.

That Longhorn moved from its original space on Peachtree next to the Benihana's - and they had valet there too.

As for the decks, the biggest pain in my ass was when they were installed those completely useless turnstile things in the Garson deck and you had to park in the Center City Deck.. but to get there, you'd have to drive past the decks, turn left on Piedmont and WAIT for the turn signal to get onto Lindbergh. That was an extra 2 minutes of my day that I'll never get back.

I guess that explains why the Garson deck has been filling a little faster lately.

Not that I'm complaining about having fewer parking spaces available. I just wish I didn't have to drive to take MARTA in the first place.

Someday, that bicycle will be mine, and my car will be a cute accessory.

Oh yes, I love the signs that say MARTA parking -4th floor, and so you (being someone who normally parks at Avondale) drive around and around and when you get to where you would turn to get to the fourth floor? There's a chain link fence. Brilliant!

I've driven past that new Longhorn about five or six times now. It still strikes me as terribly out of place, like someone hiccuped while playing a really massive game of SimCity and dropped a restaurant there instead of in Smyrna.

I would like to know WHY no retail shops have moved into Lindbergh Center. Seems like a great location.
